USF Scholarship Application

The LTC Paul J. Constantino Scholarship for Service and Leadership is a prestigious award offered to a deserving student who is currently enrolled in the University of San Francisco's Army ROTC program.

This scholarship honors the memory of Paul J. Constantino, a distinguished citizen soldier who dedicated his life to public service. The scholarship not only recognizes academic achievement but also emphasizes the value of leadership and public service. As such, it provides financial support to an outstanding ROTC student who is passionate about pursuing a career in the military and who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and community service.

By continuing Paul’s legacy, the scholarship seeks to foster a culture of service and inspire the next generation of leaders to contribute to their communities and their country.

Qualifying Criteria for Applicants

  • Currently enrolled at University of San Francisco (USF)

  • Good Academic Standing

    • Academically eligible (2.5+ GPA)

    • No academic holds on account

    • No academic referrals

    • No discipline action on Academic or Personal Record 

  • Voluntary participation or Contracted with Army ROTC at USF

    • Verified by Cadet Command

Personal Statement Prompt

Provide a personal statement describing your reasons for applying for the Paul J. Constantino Scholarship, as an ROTC student at the University of San Francisco. Explain your motivations for participating in ROTC, and how it aligns with your personal and professional goals. Discuss any experiences you have had that have influenced your decision to pursue a career in the military, and how a scholarship would help you achieve your goals. Additionally, please describe your current academic and leadership accomplishments, and any community service or extracurricular activities you are involved in.

  • 500 words maximum.

  • Applicants are encouraged to write this separately on Word Document then copy+paste into the field
