A Year of Impact at the Constantino Family Foundation (2025)

Dear Friends,

As we reflect on the year, we’re reminded why the Constantino Family Foundation exists: to expand opportunity, invest in education, and strengthen our communities. Every scholarship, grant, and partnership moves the needle for those we serve. We invite you to explore the progress we’ve made together and the lives impacted along the way.

With gratitude and optimism,

Patrick Constantino
Board President

Supporting Higher Education Technology Gifting

The Constantino Family Foundation has committed to donating 500 refurbished laptops, an estimated value of $125,000, to support classroom learning across the San Mateo County Community College District. The technology gift has been formally accepted by the District Board of Trustees and includes Apple MacBook Pro and Dell Latitude laptops, with delivery in early 2026. Following delivery, the District’s ITS Department will coordinate distribution for instructional use.

This contribution advances the Foundation’s commitment to educational opportunity by expanding access to essential technology, strengthening digital learning environments, and supporting student success across the District.

The Foundation is grateful to the District leadership and Board of Trustees for their partnership, reflecting a shared commitment to meaningful and lasting educational impact.

Listening to Our Community's Needs

This year, we proudly launched the Microgrant Program, designed to provide rapid, flexible support to local nonprofits and educational organizations addressing urgent needs in the Bay Area. Each microgrant is a direct investment in impactful, community-driven initiatives. Thus far, we have awarded microgrants to five outstanding San Francisco Bay Area community organizations:

1. Burlingame Parks and Recreation — STEAM Learning

Our microgrant supported Camp Burlingame’s summer program for children ages 5–12, providing STEAM kits that spark curiosity and build foundational STEM skills through hands-on activities.

2. Richmond Neighborhood Center — Food Security Program

In partnership with Alamo Elementary School, this program distributes weekly groceries to families in need, removing barriers to food access and supporting students’ health and stability.

3. Burlingame High School — College Readiness and Leadership

Our funding has helped strengthen academic and social support for rising seniors, providing workshops, mentorship, and team-building to prepare them for success in higher education and beyond.

4. Braid Mission: Vallejo — Foster Care Support

In partnership with Braid Mission in Vallejo, this program provides personalized outreach and social support to individuals currently or formerly navigating the foster care system, strengthening pathways to stability, independence, and long-term well-being.

5. Toys for Tots — Holiday Gift Giving for Children

We are proud to continue our annual contribution to the Toys for Tots program, honoring the legacy of Marine Corps COL (R) Thomas Constantino. In partnership with the Marine Corps Reserve Center in San Bruno, this financial gift supports the distribution of holiday gifts to children in need, bringing joy, dignity, and hope to families throughout the holiday season.
